WPHMS Morning News Show
Working in the TV studio for the morning news is a class and privilege for all students who are interested in TV production. First students must fill out applications for this class. They must have high standards in school and acceptable behavior. When they get accepted to the class they must respect others and the equipment in the studio. They must have responsibility for the jobs they are assigned to. We change jobs frequently so everyone has an opportunity to learn the jobs of TV productions. Mrs. Sheehy
The PHMS Science 4H Club supplies students with hands-on learning experiences to prepare them to be science, engineering, and technology leaders.
4-H’s focus on Environmental Science and Alternative Energy at PHMS will get youth involved in studying alternative sources of energy, water conservation, and the environment.
Drama Club-Harbor Players
The Harbor Players are PHMS’s Drama Club. We have been in existence for seven years and have almost 100 members. Every year we put on a showcase of talent and a musical play. The club sponsor is Mrs.Lennox. We spend a lot of time learning the basics of theater, so the club is great for anyone who’s ever dreamed of performing, whether they have experience or not. We work hard, but we have a great time!!
The Christian Club is a student led club for all grades. It meets every Wednesday 9:00-9:30AM in Ms. Hudson’s room, 5-104. Students make NEW FRIENDS, pray for each other, play games, play music videos, read from the Bible, have guest speakers and youth pastors, and encourage each other to be a positive influence in their faith, school, and community. The club is FREE and everyone is welcome!!!
The Multicultural Committee is a club that helps reduces racism and prejudice that goes on in the schools and streets. The members of Multicultural Committee stand against racism and prejudice wherever they see it. The Multicultural Committee makes a huge difference in our school. Prejudice is everywhere, and with help from the MCC our school can overcome it. They help make PHMS a better place!
